Subject 209 : Kookabura/Spider Monkey hybrid.
He was the first mammal/bird cross. Also the first primate used and the prototype for future primate crosses.
An unexpected anomally with him is the extra limbs. The scientists thought he would have four limbs (plus a tail) as both parent species did. He only has fur on his tail and legs and it blends into feathers going towards his torso. His skull; though superficially influenced by its' monkey half, under x-ray more closely resembles that of a bird, with an exceptionally large brain.
The main reason for this cross was to study his hormone levels which could later be applied to various perscription drugs. Another reason was ornamental; if temperment proves mild, rare pets that could help fund the project. This subject is still under observation.

PS: Strange fact someone told me, humans only need 2% of bird genetics to grow wings, since we use so little of our DNA.
