Artist's Comments

My forth polymer clay dragon. This guy was quit the project and I didn't realise quite what I got myself into when I started him. But after a little trial and error I think I accomplished what I was going for.

I named him Shea. (Pronounced Shay,) Which means hawk-like in Gaelic. One night after working on him, I had a dream of a hawk following me around outside and landing on my hand. So I had to name him hawk. hehe.

He was kept upright by a wire and foil armature that I made before I put the clay on him.
